Business Procedures

Business Procedures is a two-semester course focusing on management and supervision in the office environment.  The course covers basic skills such as word processing, records management, and communications as well as decision making, critical thinking, teamwork, and ethics.  This class also includes projects that involve cross curricular activities with mathematics, science, reading and writing.  Students will read and analyze charts and graphs and will discuss their findings in written form through essays.  Students will also learn how to use previous mathematics skills and build on those skills as they balance income statements, general ledgers, and other accounting applications.
