Nutrition & Wellness

Nutrition & Wellness enables students to analyze the interaction of nutrition, foods, and fitness for overall wellness of individuals and families throughout the lifespan. In this course, students will develop nutrition and fitness habits to make wise decisions regarding healthy living and prevention of disease. Emphasis is given to dietary guidelines, weight control, the food consumer, new food and fitness technology, etiquette and jobs/careers in Nutrition & Wellness/Health. 

Students will need a 3 ring pocket folder with paper and pen or pencil
